As one of the PIs at the BioPOETS (Biologically-inspired Photonics-Optofluidics-Electronics Technology & Science) laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Dr. Hae Lin Jang is currently seeking talented research scientists or post-doctoral fellows to join the wonderful research team to conduct several NIH-funded research studies related to material science and engineering, biology, organ engineering, and regenerative medicine. Currently, we are recruiting researchers and post-doctoral fellows who have experience in iPSC culture, kidney biology, and organoid culture for the joint project with another laboratory at Harvard University. We are also highly interested in recruiting researchers who have experience in electrospinning and spin coating for a different joint project with another research group at Harvard University. The researchers are highly encouraged to work on the projects for a long term (>1 year). The lab will provide guidance in experiment design, result analysis, scientific writing and other training for career development. We have laboratory space, including chemistry lab benches, cell culture rooms, and office spaces. We are equipped for chemistry, microfabrication, cell and tissue culture, immunochemistry and molecular biology. In addition to professional research training in the lab, the researchers will have the opportunities to attend high-level seminars and conferences held at Harvard and MIT. We prioritize researchers and post-doctoral fellows with their own funding source. We also welcome candidates to apply scholarships to join our research group.
Candidates, please email your cover letter and curriculum vitae including the name of three references to Dr. Hae Lin Jang via firstname.lastname@example.org (mainly) or email@example.com.
