Join our dynamic team as a Psychologist with
Student Counseling & Psychological Services (SCPS) at Auburn University - and be part of a vibrant university community dedicated to mental health and wellness! In this role, you will facilitate group therapy sessions, provide individual therapy, crisis intervention, psychological assessments, treatment planning, and diagnosis. You will also train and supervise practicum students and doctoral interns. Collaboration is key as you work with campus partners within Student Affairs and across the university, serving on committees to shape policies and initiatives that promote student well-being. You'll also engage in continuous professional development funded by SCPS!
A unique and heartwarming aspect of this role involves handling SCPS Animal Assisted Therapy dogs during outreach events and therapy sessions, leveraging the therapeutic benefits of animal-assisted interventions!Why Should
