Position Summary

The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences in Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking applicants for Academic Scholars.

Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologists which include:
  • General and subspecialty pathology
  • Autopsy pathology
  • Select areas of laboratory medicine
  • Frozen sections
  • Areas of expertise in oncological pathology, GI, GU, GYN, or Derm are desirable
  • Pathologists additionally attend and actively participate in:
    • Tumor board
    • Residency teaching and oversight
    • Medical/Dental undergraduate educational teaching
