The University at Buffalo’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Research Scientist to work as part of a team to help elucidate the genetic underpinnings of neurodevelopmental; disorders such as ASD and ADHD.
Specifically, the Research Scientist will:
  • Perform molecular genetics techniques, such as PCR, DNA sequencing, and gene expression analysis, to investigate the genetic basis of neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate the genetic basis of ADHD, ASD, and intellectual disabilities.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate genetic findings with other biological and clinical data.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
