The Department of Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS), is recruiting a faculty member at either the Assistant or Associate or Full Professor rank to participate in our expansion of clinical, teaching and research activities in underserved communities in the Buffalo area.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with clinicians and investigators in our department and nationally in developing novel clinical initiatives and outcome studies of those initiatives for underserved populations.
  • Facilitate research in genetic studies of previously unstudied populations.
  • Participate in teaching residents, fellows and students.
  • Develop approaches to interacting systems of care and gaps in current services.
  • Work with existing community agencies and advocacy groups.
