The Chow Yuk Ho Technology Centre for Innovative Medicine (TCIM) aims to improve clinical care for patients through innovation and development in biomedical engineering and technology by interdisciplinary collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engineering. It serves as a platform to enhance the knowledge transfer of innovative technologies into clinical practice. The Centre is looking for outstanding candidates in the areas of flexible bioelectronics, implantable soft biomedical devices, and wireless electrical stimulation therapy.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, or material science with postdoctoral training in relevant areas; (ii) a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching; and (iii) a record of excellence in research and potential to conduct innovative work.

The appointee will be expected to (a) develop and/or participate in independent/collaborative research projects; (b) seek external research grants; (c) supervise projects and theses of undergraduate and postgraduate students; and (d) assist in laboratory management.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
