Expertise: Dr. Bauer's clinical and research area of interests are focused on the study of pediatric thyroid disease, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodular disease, thyroid cancer, and familial thyroid tumor syndromes. Within this field, Dr. Bauer has published more than 70 manuscripts, chapters and reviews and is a regularly invited lecturer and visiting professor at national and international meetings and academic institutes.
