Dr. Anderson is a faculty member at the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in surgical solutions for degenerative diseases and deformities of the hip and knee including osteoarthritis, AVN, Perthes, SCFE, FAI and hip dysplasia. He performs minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery including anterior hip replacement and partial knee replacements (patellofemoral and unicompartment arthroplasty). He also specializes in complex revision surgery for failed total hip and total knee arthroplasty as well as fractures adjacent to hip and knee replacements. An additional area of expertise for Dr. Anderson as well as a research interest are hip preservation surgeries including PAO (periacetabular osteotomy) for dysplasia, hip osteotomies, and hip preserving surgeries for FAI (femoroacetabular impingement).
