Expertise: Dr. Rivet’s research focus is the role of palliative care for patients with surgical conditions. She has published on the role of palliative care for patients with traumatic injury and in the Surgical and Trauma Intensive Care Unit. She has multiple ongoing projects including further study of access to palliative care in surgical patients and selection and counseling of patients for palliative surgery.
