Although the primary focus of my practice is sports medicine, I treat many patients who do not consider themselves athletes. By using a sports medicine approach, I aim to avoid surgery but, if needed, can use minimally invasive, arthroscopic techniques in many cases. My previous experience with elite athletes as well as patients from the community allows me to treat a wide range of problems. My research background keeps me on the cutting edge of orthopaedic surgery, and provides patients with the latest scientific information and advances. Specifically with regards to shoulder and knee, I am able to offer the full complement of treatment options such as cartilage resurfacing and transplants, arthroscopic reconstructions and replacement surgeries including total and partial knee replacement as well as traditional and reverse shoulder replacements.
