I have extensively studied risk of injuries to throwers' arms in Cooperstown, NY. I am currently studying the effects of acute ACL tears on inflammatory proteins in knees in hopes of advancing treatment options to prevent premature arthritis after injury. I am also studying outcomes of surgical treatment of patellar stabilization procedures, treatment of non-repairable rotator cuff tears with patch grafting, and factors predictive of outcomes of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. A major goal for me as a researcher is to benefit patients by improving clinical outcomes with an evidence based approach.
