Dr. Bayer's research pursuits include incorporating humanistic principles especially patient, family, and provider satisfaction into care models to enhance communication and improve outcomes. Additionally, he seeks to further develop and evaluate interventions to support provider resilience and reduce burnout. Within complex care, he is interested in collaborating and developing care models and organizational structures to improve performance metrics and the health status of this population.
