Expertise: He completed general surgical residency at Gundersen Lutheran Medical
Center, the most established training program for rural general surgeons in
the country. Dr. Watkins' clinical interests include advanced minimally invasive
surgery, endocrine surgery and broad based general surgery. He is certified by the
American Board of Surgery.

For the last 12 years, Dr. Watkins has been a General Surgeon practicing in the
Rochester area. Dr. Watkins special interest in clinical and gross anatomy has led
to teaching positions with both RIT and the University of Rochester.
