Expertise: Dr. Langfitt's research focusses on the cognitive, psychiatric, quality-of-life and economic effects of epilepsy and its treatments. His expertise lies in design and implementation of clinical trials and other research designs, with a specific focus on outcomes assessment. He leads and consults on a number of projects involving assessment and treatment of cognitive and neurobehavioral consequences of cerebral malaria and other pediatric infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa.
