Dr. Hyland is involved in several clinical trials investigating multiple sclerosis therapies--both symptomatic treatments and therapies designed to slow or halt disease progression. She is evaluating the use of telemedicine as an alternate means of providing care to MS patients. Her research interests also include epidemiological studies in MS and analysis of large patient databases to answer clinical questions not easily assessed through clinical trials.
