Expertise: Dr. Annemiek Beverdam investigates the genetic and microenvironment context in which mechanoprotein YAP acts to control stem cell proliferation in normal skin regeneration, and how these processes are perturbed in skin cancer and eczema.

Her research is funded by the NHMRC, and she published in leading journals including The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Development, Human Molecular Genetics, and Cell Death & Disease.
