1) climate change and population health, including environmental health impact assessment from climate change/ heat waves and building resilient communities for vulnerable populations to better adapt to climate change and extremes; 2) pharmaco-epidemiological studies on the quality use of medicines for the elderly with multiple morbidities; 3) multi-disciplinary projects for global health education and research that could contribute to a sustainable future. Ying is a Chief Investigator of several national and international research projects. She is a registered primary supervisor of higher degree research candidates at the University of Sydney
