Dr. Atrio is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist at Montefiore and Albert Einstein School of Medicine. She is an Assistant Professor and the Co-Director of the Fellowship in Family Planning. She completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, medical degree at New York University, residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, as well as, a Masters of Science in Biostatistics and Epidemiology and a Family Planning Fellowship at the University of Southern California, She joined the Montefiore-Einstein faculty in 2013. She has a keen interest in translational research, contraception for medically complex patients, and the gynecologic care of HIV positive women. She is dedicated to patient advocacy and the optimization of safe patient outcomes
