Dr. Denisa Ferastraoaru is Assistant Professor of Medicine in Allergy and Immunology and attending physician at Einstein/ Montefiore and Jacobi Medical Centers. Dr. Ferastraoaru is board certified in both pediatric and adult Allergy /Immunology and Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center followed by her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Ferastraoaru treats both adults and children for a multitude of allergic disorders, including environmental and food allergies, asthma, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis. She has special clinical interests in allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis and she serves as the Co-Director of the Chronic Sinusitis Center at Montefiore Medical Center.
