Expertise: Research interests include the intestinal microbiome and its implication in health and disease, Clostridium difficile infection and colon ischemia. Dr. Aroniadis is involved in numerous research studies and is currently running an FDA-approved clinical trial to assess the role of fecal microbiota transplantation for the treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.
