Dr. Blackstock's clinical activities are focused on providing general and HIV primary care at one of Montefiore's federally qualified health centers.
Related to her clinical work, Dr. Blackstock's primary research interest is in developing and testing interventions to improve engagement in HIV treatment and prevention with a particular focus on women. She also has an interest in community-engaged research and advocacy.
She is currently funded by a K23 Mentored Research Career Development Award from NIMH to develop and test a group-based antiretroviral adherence intervention for HIV-positive women.
