Expertise: My current focus is the management of acute pain in the Emergency Department. As the head of the Division of Research of the Department of Emergency Medicine, I help coordinate clinical trials and observational studies of migraine, abdominal, and low back pain and foster the development of the physician-scientists who carry this research agenda forward
