Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor - Division of Adolescent Medicine , Department of Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (OCH) is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to join our team as a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic and clinical excellence of our renowned institution while focusing on the health and psychosocial needs of adolescents and young adults, ages 12-30. Patients are cared for at 2 outpatient locations as well as OCH. Subspecialty patient services include:
- eating disorders
- sexually transmitted diseases
- alcohol and substance abuse
- mental health conditions
- reproductive health care
- gender dysphoria
- chronic disease
Teaching and Mentoring responsibilities:
- Contribute to medical education by actively participating in the training of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops related to adolescent medicine.
Scholarly Activities:
- Engage in scholarly research initiatives and activities, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care related to adolescent health and medicine.
- Contribute to academic publications, presentations at conferences, and other scholarly endeavors.
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 17 pediatric subspecialties.
