The
Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB) Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and the Oishei Children’s Hospital has an opening for a non-tenure track Pediatric Cardiologist. The candidate will compliment a group of 3 pediatric cardiologists. Strong clinical expertise in all aspects of pediatric cardiology is needed; interest in interventional cardiology is welcomed.
The duties include:
- Inpatient coverage at the state- of-the-art Oishei Children’s Hospital of the innovative Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus
- Out- patient clinical duties, both at the hospital and other satellite locations
- The candidate must play a strong role in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Opportunities for clinical or bench research are available including collaboration with other researchers at the Global Vascular and the Clinical Translational Research Center.
The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences makes a major contribution to the medical campus, providing multidisciplinary clinical environments to better access to higher-quality care with critical research programs and preventative medicine innovations.
UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians’ Group, the single largest medical group in the area, and we are supported by 14 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians also make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
