The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky seeks candidates for the position of Chief of the Division of Rheumatology. The Division is poised to achieve regional and national recognition in clinical care delivery and medical education with opportunity to build a robust research program focused on the care of medically complex patients. Responsibilities of the Chief include a combination of administrative, clinical, research and educational duties pertinent to background and experience. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be appointed as an Associate or Full Professor. The Division of Rheumatology must lead our growing robust outpatient academic practice and promote the development of expertise in medical education, complex care, quality and safety, and health services research. Candidates should have excellent skills and experience in leadership, education and research to further advance the success of our clinical and academic programs.
